Mobile School

The mobile schools are extendable blackboards on wheels, which come with more than 250 educational panels, working on themes such as creative therapy, reading and writing, health, hygiene and social skills.
Once a mobile school arrives in an area with street children, the blackboard slides open to create a two-sided 6-meter long educational tool, helping the street educators to interact with the children. Mobile school is active in 38 countries with 71 projects.

I think that education and music have always been very important pillars in my life, and I truly believe that music can transform people's lives because contact with art makes you know not only yourself but also the world.

LIVE, LOVE, UNITE TOOLKIT

An interactive educational game that brings values of Tomorrowland directly to youth workers, teachers, and youth organizations. Together with twelve of the world’s most famous DJs.

The toolkit revolves around Tomorrowland’s core values: daring to be yourself (LIVE), respect for yourself and others (LOVE), and the importance of working together (UNITE). These values are explained interactively and accessibly through engaging videos and challenges presented by legendary DJs such as NERVO, Armin van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, GORDO, MATTN, Amber Broos, Henri PFR, Netsky, Andromedik, Kölsch, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and AFROJACK.

Arnoud Raskin, founder of Mobile School: "There are more than 150 million street children in the world, including in Belgium! These are 150 million unique individuals, each with their own talents that are being wasted. That is a big loss for society! We have to find a different way of looking at those children and young people. We should not simply feel sorry for them, or even worse, ignore them... We give them the feeling that they are part of society and offer them the opportunity to develop their talents. Only in this way can they escape the negative spiral of the street." About the project

Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School - Itu, Brazil

The Tomorrowland Foundation has teamed up with Tecendo Infâncias Institute and the Municipality of Itu, to create a new Music and Arts School for children and youngsters in Itu, Sāo Paulo. Mayor improvements to the main building have been made to build an engaging and creative learning environment for over 4,000 children, offering opportunities for self-expression through music and the arts. In addition to specialized music and arts facilities, the school now features a modern playground and sports court. Building upon the success of the established Music and Arts schools in Nepal and India, this project reaffirms the commitment to give children worldwide the opportunity to attend music & art classes and unlock their talents.

As a longstanding tradition, the Tomorrowland Foundation invited famous artists to celebrate the opening of its brand-new Music and Arts school in Itu. Following Alan Walker's inspiring visit to the Music and Arts School in India a few days ago, renowned DJs Amber Broos, Carola, MANDY and Zerb joined the opening, inspiring local youngsters.

20% Of the children and teenagers living in the city of Itu, the hometown of Tomorrowland Brasil, live in social vulnerability. C.E.L - Centro de Experimentação em Linguagens is a community center offers the children the possibility of self-expression through music and arts, and of belonging through sports and recreation. The involvement of the Tomorrowland Foundation will take the project to an even higher level, reaching out to more kids than ever before.
