About the project
Music & Arts School - Itu, Brazil
The Tomorrowland Foundation has teamed up with the Municipality of Itu, to create a new Music and Arts School for children and youngsters in Itu, Sāo Paulo. Mayor improvements to the main building have been made to build an engaging and creative learning environment for over 4,000 children, offering opportunities for self-expression through music and the arts. In addition to specialized music and arts facilities, the school now features a modern playground and sports court. Building upon the success of the established Music and Arts schools in Nepal and India, this project reaffirms the commitment to give children worldwide the opportunity to attend music & art classes and unlock their talents.

Why Itu, Brasil?
Empowering children and youngsters from the local community
20% Of the children and teenagers living in the city of Itu, the hometown of Tomorrowland Brasil, live in social vulnerability. C.E.L - Centro de Experimentação em Linguagens is a community center offers the children the possibility of self-expression through music and arts, and of belonging through sports and recreation. The involvement of the Tomorrowland Foundation will take the project to an even higher level, reaching out to more kids than ever before.
I am a musician and my mother is a preschool teacher. So, I think that education and music have always been very important pillars in my life, and I truly believe that music can transform people's lives because contact with art makes you know not only yourself but also the world.
